Obituary For Ruth Tolbert Richardson Ruth Tolbert Richardson, 77, of 923 Harris Street, passed away Friday morning, December 2, 2011 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, December 5, at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Ruth was born April 28, 1934 in Rockingham County, daughter of the late John and Virginia Martin Tolbert. She was a member of Osborne Baptist Church and a self-employed accountant and tax preparer for 40 years. Surviving are her fiance', Ronald Scott of Eden; sons, Jerry Brammer, Jr. and fiancee', Dawn Harris of the home and Danny Bolick and wife, Carolyn of Eden; three granddaughters, Tina McCorkle of Stoneville, Ashley Harris of Hampton, VA and Grace Harris of Eden, NC; two great-grandchildren, Macy and Casey McCorkle; and sister, Brenda Butner and husband Jimmy, of Eden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Richardson; three sisters; and a brother. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside, and other times at her home 923 Harris St.
