Obituary For Corbett Guy Buckle Corbett Guy Buckle, 83, of 918 Seymour Court, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 8, 2011 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, June 12 at Church of the Epiphany. Mr. Buckle was born November 18, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Stewart Henry and Mary Dumaine Buckle. He was a World War II US Marine veteran and a graduate of University of Virginia. Mr. Buckle was a retired agent for the AXA Equitable Insurance Company. Surviving are his children, Joan Moore and husband, Bernie of Eden, Molly Wilson and husband, Rick of West Palm Beach, FL, Susan Pusey of Pocomoke City, MD, Cory Buckle of Salisbury, NC and Chuck Buckle and wife, Debbie of Fayetteville, GA; 11 grandchildren, Paul Moore, Matthew Moore, Beth Payne, Brian Buckle, Anne Buckle, Chris Wilson, Amber Bautz, Todd Pusey, Jennifer Clayton, Mark Pusey and Michelle McCurdy; 20 great-grandchildren; and brother, Hank Buckle of Onancock, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Hamlet Buckle. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, 5 - 7 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
