Obituary For James Robert Davis James Robert Davis, 83, of 807 Watford Place in Murrell's Inlet, SC, passed away Sunday evening, March 13, 2011 at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden, NC. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 19, at Andes Presbyterian Church in Andes, NY. Burial will take place at a later date in Andes Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Davis was born March 10, 1928 in Andes, NY, son of the late William Smith Davis and Ethel Wight Davis. He was a World War II Army veteran and a retiree of Middleburg, NY School System as Director of Pupil Personnel Services. Surviving is his wife, Lois Shultis Davis of Murrell's Inlet; son, Bill Davis and wife, Kathleen of Eden; and three grandchildren, Jon Davis and wife, Kristen of Wake Forest, Delisa Reavis and husband, Louis of Chapel Hill, and Jimmy Davis of Raleigh.
