Obituary For Clyde "Snooky" Shelton, Jr.
June 1, 1969 - June 6, 2021


Clyde “Snooky” Shelton, Jr., 52, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, at his home. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 5 – 7 pm, at Fair Funeral Home.

Born June 1, 1969 in Evans City, PA, Clyde was the son of the late Clyde Stuart Shelton, Sr. and Joann Vernon Shelton Stultz.  He was known to work as an electrician, carpenter, and had the ability to fix just about anything that was broken.  He also had a love for music, loved to tell tales of his football days at the Boys Club and at Montgomery Central High School in Tennessee, and was a diehard NASCAR and Cowboys fan.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Harden Shelton of the home; step-daughter, Roxanne Moxley; brother, Derrick Shelton (Renee); sisters, Cindy Mounce (Ricky) and Kim Frazier (Tony); mother-in-law, Ruby Harden; sisters-in-law, Nancy Robertson (Gerald) and Wanda Fitzgerald (Stacey); nephews, Josh Rodgers, Karl Overby, Danny Mounce, Nick Frazier, Matthew Porter, Austin Porter and Devin Shelton; nieces, Christy Rodgers, Kisha Shelton, Ashley Hartsell (Brett), Brittany Robertson, Alexandria Shelton, Amber Shelton, Breanna Robertson, and Nicole Frazier, along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Robert “Bob” Stultz and his sister, Regina Shelton.
