Garry Lynn Tilley, 50, entered into rest Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Overlook Cemetery. He will lie in repose at Fair Funeral Home, Saturday, January 23rd from 12 noon to 6:00pm.  The service will be live streamed on Facebook for those who are unable to attend the service.

Garry was born May 14, 1970 in Rockingham County to the late Tony Lee Tilley and Brenda Brown Eanes. He was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 1988.  Garry attended RCC to study Criminal Justice. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.  Garry retired from the City of Eden, Water Department in 2003.  He was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughters:  Jessica Dalton (Robbie) of Michigan, Heather Tilley (Dwayne Davidson) of Greensboro, finacee, Wendy Powell, grandchildren:  Rylan Dalton, Izabelle Stophel, Cyrus Kernodle, Nole Sexton, Emerson Sexton, Oliver Sexton, Nadia Foley and Madison Belton, Brothers:  Walter Tilley, Darryl Tilley, Scottie Eanes, John Pulliam, Sisters, Lisa Tilley of Eden.

Along with his parents, Garry was preceded in death by his sister Teresa Tilley.
