Everett "Larry" Cannon, 64, of Stoneville, passed away Thursday evening, May 21, at Accordius Health of Wilksboro. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, May 30, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home Facebook page for those unable to attend.  

Mr. Cannon was born November 7, 1955 in Richmond, VA to the late Charles Edward Cannon Sr. and Katherine Cannon Bibee.  He was formerly employed by Shiloh Farms and most recently a machine operator for Sam Smith and Sons. Larry loved hunting and fishing, and he never met a stranger. 

He is survived by his brothers, Charlie Cannon Jr. and fiancee', Karen Shelton of Elkin NC and Mike Cannon of Stoneville, NC; sister Kathy Roberts (Dean) of Stoneville, NC; nieces, Cris Ann Tilley (Eddie) and Victoria Roberts; and cousin, Linda C. Porter of Ashland, VA.
