Azaliet Maria Velez Miranda age 63 of Eden passed away on Friday August 23, 2019 at UNC Rockingham Health Care. 

Mrs. Miranda was born on March 4th, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY to the late parents Augustine Velez and Providencia Gonzales-Velez.  

She was a former employee of Morehead Memorial Hospital for 13 years as a dietician.  In her free time she enjoyed spending her time around the ones she loved the most, her family.

She is survived by her husband Wilfredo Miranda of Eden; son Augustine Miranda of Eden, NC; sister Maria Velez-Huff of Eden, NC; brothers Augustine Velez Jr. of Pensicola, FL, and Humberto Velez of Atlanta, GA; sister in-laws Sonya Arroyo-Velez, Barbie Hines-Velez of Atlanta, GA;grand-daughter Myranda Roach of Eden, NC; neice, Vanness Vele-Santos of Pensicola, FL; nephew, Mark Velez, of Hawaii.

"You fought so hard, but loved harder.  The love you gave was so beautiful.  The love for you was so unbelievable."

As requested by the family there will be no formal visitation or service.
