Obituary For Gregory Blake Newlin Gregory Blake Newlin, age 56, of 1440 Ridge Ave. Eden, passed away at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday August 4th at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to follow. Greg was born February 15, 1954 to the late Wendell and Alice Coble Newlin. He was a graduate of Morehead High School class of 1972 and was the Class President. Greg graduated from Appalachian State University in 1976 and taught at Morehead High School where he was also the tennis coach and assistant football coach. He was a Life Scout and past Scout assistant for Troop 567. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Eden.
