Obituary For Adina Walker Manuel Adina Walker Manuel, 83 , of 6138 Hwy 220 Business, Stoneville, passed away Friday afternoon, January 1, 2010 at Britthaven of Madison. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday at Matthews Chapel United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Manuel was born July 29, 1926 in Fries, Virginia to the late Elmer Guy Walker, Sr. and Etta Evans Walker. She was a member of the Matthews Chapel United Methodist Church, past Sunday School Teacher , faithful member of the church choir and a member ot the United Methodist Women. Adina worked at Washington Mills for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her son John W. Minter, Sr. and one sister and three brothers. Survivors are, her husband , Thomas Dillard Manuel of the home, grandchildren; John WIllard Minter, Jr., Bill Thomas Minter, Crystal Gayle Minter, great-grand-children; John Willard Minter III, April Minter, William Minter and Justin Durham, great-great-grandchildren; Jalen Garrison and Joshua Garrison, Jr. , step mother; Christine Walker , half brother; Elmer Guy Walker, Jr.,half sisters; Betty Jo Havens and Judy Turner, step brothers; Bobby McArthur and John Wayne McArthur, step sister; Linda Prater.
