Uncle Jimmy......as a child....... he was funny always picking on me and my funny ways. Pointing out anything that would bring a smile to everones face. Drinking coffe at Mama Wilders table and telling story after story either to inform us on someting or looking for shock value on our face.
As an adult.....he pretty much did the same things although now the stories meant more and I made sure I heard every word for memeory!!! Biggest blessing was he got to be a part of my beautiful daughter life and Im sure the way I felt as a child, is what she is feeling!!!! She (unlike me ) was even more blessed becasue the mose imoportant people in her life ( her friends) got the pleasure of meeting him and everytime they heard Jimmy's coming....they came!!! They adored him.
WOW....kids that knew him not, love him and enjoyed his sompany as much as we did. THAT MY FRIENDS...tells you alot about Jimmy Wilder. Man of courage, loyalty and open heart to anyone who would just loved him back!!!!!!! I am honored I had 48 yrs of his life. If I called at the last minute and invited him dowm for coffee or a card game because Mom,Tim, Barry,Gina or who ever was coming...he was there. Never skipeed that opportunity to us!!!!! Even in his weakest moments he mustard up the strenght to get a visit in one more time.
I love you Uncle Jimmy and will (do ) miss your like crazy!!!!!!
Your neice who craved your love,
Jan
