I'm very sorry to hear about Robert. Robert was my best friend during our teenage years. May GOD be with the family during this difficult time. I know Robert will me missed. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Robert is my brother. we shared time together thoughout his life. I was there when he came into this world and was with him 2 weeks before he left for a much better world. He was a sweet spirit and we never had a cross word between us ever. He shared his vast knowledge with me about nutrition and medicines to avoid. It helped. We'll get back together on streets of gold.
My sincere sympathy to Drew, Eric, and Robert Jr.at this time of loss. Robert Sr. was one of my favorite Funderburks> He always had such a sweet spirit and a way of bringing unity in the Funderburk family. I will always cherish the times we emailed and the visits he made to North Carolina. He will be greatly missed. Please keep in touch with us. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Robert was my cousin. Although he was younger than me, our families were very close as he was growing up in Draper. He always had such a sweet spirit. Please know I am thinking of you all with sympathy, with love and with prayers that God will bless you during this difficult time. Peggy Funderburk Hendrix

For so many of us this world has much darkened with wonderful Robert Funderburk no longer in it. With such a sharp intellect and keen wit, he has been the finest, most thoughtful, kindest, and most noble man we've ever known. I can't imagine going on without his constant prayers and encouragement. Oh, how we shall miss him! We count our lives blessed to have had him in them. We send heartfelt condolences to the Funderburk family. Our hearts ache for you at losing such a rare gem and true prince of a man, a man who so dearly and deeply loved each of you. Until we meet him again on a glorious day upon Heaven's splend'rous shore, not a day shall pass when he'll not be remembered with much love. With heartfelt sympathy, ArLeen and Robert Lonneker
