Malene Snow Jennings, age 83 of 79 Oasis Drive Spencer, VA formerly of Eden, NC passed away on Monday January 21, 2013 at Stanleytown Health & Rehab Center in Bassett,VA.
A funeral service will be held 3 pm Thursday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Jennings was born June 25, 1929 in the Spray section of Eden to the late George and Evelyn Hodges Snow. She was a graduate of Leaksville High School and was a former manager of The Remnant Shop & retiree of the Rose's Department Store.
Malene was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were brothers, George and Ervin Snow and sister, Marie Manuel.
Surviving are daughter, Serita Jennings and friend John Carter of Reidsville; grandchildren, Kim Meadows Walker of Collinsville and Posie Meadows III of Eden; greatgrandchildren, Zach, Lydia, Wyatt and Ivy.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening at Fair Funeral Home from 6 - 8 pm.
