Kersten Bowman Daniel, 54, of 740 Conway Dr., Axton, Va. passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Daniel Family Cemetery.
Kersten was born in Mannheim, Germany on August 6, 1958 to J.B. Bowman and Martha Bowman Dalton . She was formerly employed with the City of Danville.
Kersten is survived by her husband, Frank Wilson Daniel of the home, son, Troy Lee Smith of Axton, daughter, Katrina Daniel of Ridgeway, Va. mother, Martha Bowman Dalton of Ringold Va., father, J.B. Bowman of Sutherland, Va., brothers, Bob Dalton of Ringold, Va., Johnny Dalton, Blairs, Va., Jesse Dalton of Java, Va., and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 Thursday evening at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 744 Conway Dr.,Axton, Va.
