Charles Barry Bridges, 66, of 1135 Hobson Road in Axton, VA, passed away at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, December 27, at Pleasant Valley Church of the Living God.
Mr. Bridges was born November 5, 1946 in Rutherford County, NC, son of the late C. B. and Wilma Huntsinger Bridges. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed with Pluma.
Mr. Bridges is survived by his daughter, Jamie Hundley of Collinsville, VA; son, Jean-Claude Bridges of the home; two grandchildren; brother, John Bridges and wife, Katherine of Ruffin; two nieces and one nephew.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Bridges.
There will be no formal visitation.

I.m very sorry for the loss of Barry, I hadn't seem him for a long time, I live down next to Dink, I've been living here for around 30 yr.on Schoolfield Rd. My prayers include all the family, Any help other than finanical I'll be here or there, I've been on Disability my-self fot the last 12 yr..............GOD BLESS ALL!
