Margie McBride Braswell, age 91 of 230 East Harris Place, passed away on Thursday evening November 22, 2012 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
A graveside service will be held 1 pm Sunday at Dan View Cemetery.
Mrs Braswell was born October 7, 1921 in Rockingham County to the late Wade and Annie Stultz McBride. She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills as a Lab Technician.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Hall and husband Harold; son, James Waylan Roach; sister, Louise Gann; brother, Noah McBride; grandchildren, Shawn Hall, Brian Hall, and Jessica Buffkin; great grandchildren, Alanna Hall , Lane, Joel, Emma and Ashley Buffkin.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were, sisters, Rebecca Maklary, Juanita Wilson, Beatrice Cowan and Lonie McBride, brothers, Virgil "Buddy" McBride, Coy "Cotton" McBride, and Dewey McBride.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 til 8 pm and other times at the home of her daughter, 854 East Meadow Road, Eden, NC

I just read about Margie's death. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Since Mother and Daddy passed away and I am not in Eden I don't hear what happens there. I always remember how much Margie and Mother looked alike.
