Connie Dee Hopper McCraw, 51, of 430 Decatur St. passed away at her home Saturday November 10, 2012. There will be a graveside service held Wednesday November 14, 2012 2pm at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.

Connie McCraw was born September 26, 1961 in Martinsville, VA to the late Edward Ray Hopper, Sr. and Clarice Isley Hopper. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. McCraw is survived by her husband Mark Steven McCraw of the home, sisters; Brenda Hopper Campbell and husband Richard of Ridgeway, VA, Betty Hopper Emory of Ridgeway, VA, Bonnie Hopper Purgason and husband Allen of Eden, NC, brothers; Edward Ray Hopper, Jr. of Eden, NC and Ronnie Lee Hopper and wife Leesa of Madison, NC, numerous nieces and nephews, and several in-laws. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Hopper Wilson.
Ray and Ronnie , I was sad to hear of this but I still have my memories of growing up with you guys and Connie she will be missed and her memories will live on with me , I think of the slogan a lot By God I Hot ,By God I Know I Hot and it takes me back to them days ,you guys are in my thoughts and prayers , GodSpeed Connie.
