Teresa Lynn Trent Martin age 60, loving wife, mother and grandmother, of 1171 Quesinberry Road, Eden, passed away peacefully at home on Friday evening October 26, 2012 at her home. A graveside service will be held 4 pm Monday at Dan View Cemetery.
Teresa was born October 14, 1952 in Rockingham County. She was a graduate of "Class of 1971" at Morehead High School and later retired from Miller-Coors Brewing Company in 2009.
Preceding her in death was her father, David Trent; brother, George Trent; brother-in-law, Jerry Martin; father-in-law, Robert Martin and mother-in-law, Ruby Martin.
She is survived by husband, Danny Martin; daughter, Nikki Williams and husband Billy; grandson, Isaiah Williams; mother, Gloria Trent; sister, Sara Washburn and husband Mike; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Bobby and Carol Martin; sister-in-law, Janice Martin; nephew, Elliott Trent; goddaughter, Tami Grubb; and her precious dog, Lucy Lu.
Family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7 -9 pm at Fair Funeral Home.

What can i really say besides Mrs.Teresa was like a second momma to me. i spent more time at her house then i did at my own. Nikki and i go back to grade school and have been best friends most of our lives. Teresa was always a strong and tough lady. We all did have some great times. One of my favorite memories was our times at the Apple Festival that was our thing (Mine Nikki and Momma's). Even through her illness she was tough and went on with life. I am saddened that she is gone now, but i know that she is not in pain anymore. Family, you know that i wish i could be there with you through this time and wrap my arms around each of you. God gained another angel and i know that she is watching over us all. I'm with you all in spirit and just want you all to know that i am deeply sorry for your loss. I am so sorry to hear about my teenage friends passing. Teresa was a great friend when we were growing up.
