Dora Joyce Robertson, 85, of 6861 Business 220, Stoneville, NC passed away October 13, 2012 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday October 16, 11:00 am at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, Eden, N.C.
Burial will follow at White's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Ridgeway, Va.
Mrs. Robertson was born July 10, 1927 in Rockingham County to the late Peter Joyce and Maude New Joyce. She was a homemaker, and attended White's Chapel Baptist Church.
Surviving are her Husband , Joseph H. Robertson to whom she was a dedicated wife of 66 years, and beloved mother to son; Mark Robertson and wife Tammy of Stoneville, NC, two daughters; Peggy Robertson of Greensboro, NC and Kathy Brown and husband Ed of Stoneville,
NC. She is also survived by her two sisters; Mamie Brown of Martinsville, VA and Mary Wigington of Mayodan, NC, Grandchildren; Rebecca Brown and Nathan Brown of Stoneville, NC, one great grandson; Blake Brown of Stoneville, NC and sister-in-law Vera Joyce. The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers Kim Amburn, Kathy Lucas and Karen Lollar.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers; Joe D. and Frank Joyce, and sister; Frances Joyce.

It is terribly sad to part with her, but I hope her loved ones will take comfort in the happy memories of her long and cheerful life spent so close to her family. Dora was a lady of great warmth and kindness, and always with a charming twinkle in her eye. To the end, she was a delight to be around, and I know her love for you all is as strong as ever. She will be dearly missed, but we wish you comfort and peace of heart in this sad time.
