Josephine McGuire Pruitt, 75, of 5001 Hwy. 700, passed away Saturday at Morehead Nursing Center. Funeral will be held 2 pm Tuesday at Draper Christian Church where she was a member. Burial to follow at Dan View Cemetery.
Josephine was born in Rockingham County to the late Lewis Chester and Ruby Underwood McQuire.
Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her husband: David Wayne Pruitt of the home, Daughters: Dena Reid and husband Jerry of Eden, N.C., Dawn Pruitt of Maiden, N.C.. Sons, Phillip Pruitt and wife Deborah of Eden, N.C., Terry Pruitt and wife Susan of Ruffin. 11 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Josephine is peceded in death Brother, Lewis " Butch " McGuire.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday evening at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home. Online condolences may be made to the family at fairfuneralhome.com.
