Am so saddenned to see this. I have a very wonderful memory of Mrs. Lewis as she was my sccond grade teacher. I had contracted measles during the Easter holidays and back in thoe days , for whatever reason, my grandmother had the shadeds drawn and the room darkened and suddenly, a knock came upon the door and there stood Mrs. Lewis with the most beautiful Easter Basket in her hand and a card signed by all my classmates. Is such a special memory and as she was such a special person. I know that she touched my life.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs, Lewis, my second grade teacher. I had the pleasure of visiting with her on several occasions when my mother was in the room across the hall from her at the nursing center. We talked and laughed about the "good old days" when she taught me and my friends in school.I'm so glad I had a chance to see her after all those years.
