Dagan Matthew Gammon, 5 months old, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Brenner's Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 9, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Dusty Gammon of Eden; father, Donald Gammons; sister, Skylar Hodgson; and brother, Dylan Gammon, all of Eden; maternal grandparents Betty Hodge Gilley and Jimmy Donald Gilley, Jr of Eden; and paternal grandmother, Renee Gammons of Eden.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home.

Hello, my name is Ashley. You do not know me but I was so sad to read about the loss of your son at such a young age I wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the family. At times like this, I have found Jesus Christs' words at John 5:28,29 to be very comforting where he promised that "the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...to a resurrection of life." We also have the comforting assurance at Revelation 21:3,4 that soon "God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore." I just wanted to share something encouraging that has helped my family in times of loss. You will be in my prayers.
