Iris Elizabeth Hudson Johnson, 60, of 140 W. W. Irving Road in Stoneville, passed away Thursday morning, April 19, 2012 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at North Spray Christian Church.
Iris was born April 10, 1952 in Leaksville, NC, daughter of the late Thomas and Faye Bird Hudson. She was a member of North Spray Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Johnson, of the home; son, Allen "Buddy" Hancock and wife, Reba of Rocky Mount, VA; daughter, Michelle Hancock Joyce and husband, Randy of Eden; step-sons, Paul Johnson and wife, Joanne of Westerly, RI, Jeff Johnson and wife, Nancy of Glenbulah, WI and Bob Johnson, Jr. and wife, Cheryl of Sheboygan, WI; seven grandchildren; sisters, Pam Cox and husband, Bobby of Eden, Marsha Corne and husband, Tony of Stoneville and Kim Loudermilk and husband, Alfred of Martinsville, VA; and brother, Tommy Hudson of Elgin, SC.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Spray Christian Church, 521 Washburn Ave., Eden, NC 27288; or to American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.

Michelle and Bob yall are in my prayers. I will miss Iris at work and will cherish all of the good times and laughs we had. She was a great lady full of life and I wont forget that.
