Ivadell Scott Crotts, 82, of 717 McConnell Street in Eden, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011 at her home. A funeral service will be held Sunday October 16th, 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, with a private burial to follow Monday morning October 17th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Crotts was born February 22, 1929 in Leaksville, NC to the late Lee and Sally Massey Scott. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church for ten years, and she worked at Fieldcrest Mills for over thirty years where she retired. Surviving is her daughter, Judy Foster of Eden; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Crotts, and daughter Brenda Robinson. The family will receive friends Saturday evening October 15th 7 until 9pm at Fair Funeral Home, and at other times at the home. To the family,sorry to hear of your loss.She was a very sweet person.My husband did a lot of little jobs for her.I talked with her on the phone alot.She was so dear to me.I talked with her on the phone tuesday and she did not feel well then.She is in a better place than we are and that is what she wanted was to be with her Lord.God bless each and every one of you during this time of your loss.
