Dear Family: My heart goes out to all of you with the loss of a dear sweet wonderful person that your mother, sister and aunt was to you. I had known Donnie (Donola) for a long time, and she also had a smile on her face and was always someone who would brighten your day. I will never forget our mountain trip together, the three of us, Linda, Donola, and myself, off to a unknown place, driving around, up in the mountains, in the middle of the night, and could not find a place to stay and finally found one room left and one of us had to sleep on the floor, but we had the entire weekend together, bringing reindeers on the top of Linda's van down that mountain road, singing songs all the way up and down those mountains. It was a trip that I will never forget, because Donola was a joy to be with that made it to special and all the times that we went up to Alanta City together, and to the Bamanda's together, and just being up on a airplane with her was something else to behold. And the time we with out west in the middle of winter, and Donola had all the flight information and was in charge of it, and we were all in our pj's drinking coffee, loving and laughing at each other and then a someone at the door wanted to know when we were going to check-out, and we had 5 minutes to shower, dress, pack, and get to the airport to get to our plane back to Raleigh, only to forget where we had parked our car. All the laughter, all the smiles, all the wonderful fun times together in life, I will never forget her, she was one of a kind. She had a heart of gold, and she is now dancing in the streets of gold in heaven, with all her friends and love ones. I hope to speak to each of you before the funeral tomorrow, and that you will receive this message today to let you know that my heart is with you at this time of your life, and God be with you and your family. Randy,Mike,Kay, and family; I am so sorry for the great loss that you are having to experience by "Ma" passing. Our prayers are with you and we will continue to lift you you through these days ahead. Matthew 5:4 reads " Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted " Isaiah 41:10 confirms this also " Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Ma believed in these words and we should as well. Though our pain is so evident now, so is the fact that she has been reunited with her comforter. We too shall be with her again. God bless each of you and we will continue our prayers!
