Beverly Boyte Patterson, 72, of Eden passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her home in Stoneville, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville. Visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 2024 from 5-7pm at Fair Funeral Home. At other times, Friends and Family may also gather at the home of Beverly.

Beverly was born May 31, 1951 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Eugene McPherson Boyte and Martha Jane Saunders Boyte. She was the co-owner of Affordable Roofing Company, Inc. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends, and being on the boat flounder fishing at Ocean Isle Beach.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert Patterson, Jr. (Tatia) of Eden, Sheila Durham (Mark) of Reidsville; grandchildren, Kayla Durham, Mark “Aaron” Durham, Jr. (Jordan), Aaron Bailey, Wesley Patterson, Mason Durham, Macy Patterson; great-grandchildren, Rhett and Levi Cloninger, Blakeley Durham; brothers and sisters, Pat Roland, Joan Pratt (Ed), Mike Boyte (Von), Myrna Farmer, Debbie DuBois (Gilbert), Kevin Boyte (Sandy); numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Kerwin Patterson, Sr., and brother, Eugene McPherson “Mack” Boyte, Jr.

Beverly was my second Mama to me when I was growing up. I spent most days at her house hanging out with Sheila and Robbie. Beverly was a great wife, great Mama, and great friend to everyone that loved and knew her. But mostly, Beverly was a loving woman. She told it like it was but she always did it with love. I will always cherish my time with her and I am so sorry for the loss of Beverly and Robert. I am praying for Shelia and Robbie and all of the family. I pray that God gives them a comfort that only he can give and that they hold on to each other and continue the legacy of love that their parents gave them. I love you Robbie and Sheila! Rest in Peace sweet Beverly you have reunited with the love of your life and now you have a new body resting in the arms of our Savior! I will always love you!

Cousins I was so shocked when I got up this morning and Royal asked me if I knew one of my cousins had passed away. My heart breaks for y'all. Yesterday Barbara passed away 6 years ago and her funeral was on April 23. Well after all their birthdays were only about a week apart. My love I send to each of you and my heart bleeds for y'all because I know what it's like to lose a sibling because both of mine are gone. I'm the oldest so it hurts even more. Hugs and love ❤️ to each of you.

A  bright light has been extinguished!  Beverly, and Robert, were so much fun to be around.  Mike and I met them many years ago at Jose's.  They were both so friendly, kind,and,generous. We have only happey memories of them both!   I can only imagine how happy they are to be reunited!!!!!!!!
