Penny Baker Corum, age 60 of Reidsville, NC passed away Saturday evening March 9th, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Monday March 18th at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens in Eden. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Fair Funeral Home.

Penny was born August 29th, 1963 to the late Henry Alexander Baker and Geraldine Baker Jones  in Rockingham County, NC. Penny owned and operated her own cleaning business and was a passionate member of the Relay For Life.

Surviving her are her husband Riley Corum of the home, sons Joey Denny of Eden, NC, Ryan Corum(Joanna) of Reidsville, NC, Brandon Corum(Rebecca) of Liberty, NC and Patrick Corum(Desiree) of Martinsville, VA, brothers Tommy Hailey of Eden, NC, Ronnie Jones of Stoneville, NC, sister Patty Massey(Jeff) of Elon, NC, grandchildren Ryker, Ayden, Kyler, Gracie, Ryan Jr., Ann Marie, Makenzie, Landon, Riley and Braylon along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials in her name can be made to any local Relay For Life chapter of the donor’s choice. Online condolences can be offered to the family at www.fairfuneralhome.com.

Butch and family my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. Penny and I go way back to little girls and I'll always remember her sweet and humble ways. I loved her laughter and that was one thing about her she could make you laugh. Heaven gained a beautiful Angel yesterday even though it broke a lot of hearts. May God comfort each and everyone of you and give you the strength to get through the next few days and months/years. RIP Beautiful Angel Until We Meet Again 💕
