Donald "Don" Robert Tebbs, 87, of 201 Corey Drive in Stoneville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 23, at Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Tebbs was born June 23, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late John and Edith Tebbs. He was a World War II Army veteran. He received the Purple Heart after being wounded in Italy. Surviving is his wife, Alice Nelson Tebbs of the home; step-daughter, Patti W. Shelton and husband, Chad of Stokesdale; two grandchildren, Stephanie M. Ceraso and husband, John of Monroe, GA and Richard D. Morris and wife, Katy of Suwanee, GA; one step-grandchild, Olivia G. Shelton of Stokesdale; two great-grandchldren, Samantha and Dylan Ceraso of Monroe, GA; one step-great-grandchild, Blake Ceraso of Monroe, GA; two brothers, Albert Tebbs and wife, Missy of Sebastian, FL and Gifford Tebbs and wife, June of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Margie McCuean and husband, Bob of Bethel Park, PA; and several beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Winifred Bales Tebbs and his daughter, Ruth Ann Tebbs Morris. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Don was a very special person and I know he will be missed greatly. I will keep you all in my prayers during this time of sorrow. I love you and think of you often.

Sorry for your loss. I am the second son of Albert and Anita Tebbs. I do not remember Uncle Don much, but I'm sure he is missed. Sorry I did not know of his death sooner. Your nephew, Kurt.
