All of you are in my prayers. He was a very special man, and someone that will be very missed by everyone that knew him. He always had a smile and never met a stranger. He holds a very special place in my heart. God be with you and know that he is in heaven.

Dear Elaine, You and Roy were two of the first people to make me feel at home here. I'll never forget his words, "what was that word you said----how do you spell that?" I knew right away I was acceptrd. I didn't know Roy that long but I felt he walked a close walk with the Lord. He will be missed and remembered with love. Nancy/Bill Putnam

I was so sorry to learn of Dr. Turner's death. I will always remember his kindness. We first met when I was four years old and the office was located upstairs at Burke's Ben Franklin. Dr. Turner repaired numerous broken glasses for me and always wanted to know what fun thing I was doing when I broke the ear pieces. When I was a teenager and worked at Burke's Ben Franklin he gave me credit so I could get a pair of wire framed glasses my parents refused to purchase. He was always a friend to me and he will be missed. You are in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about Dr Turner. He will definitely be missed. Here is a little story to make you smile. Whenever we get pink tomatoes on our sandwiches out at restaurants, we think about Dr Turner. In Sunday school one morning we were having a discussion about tomato crops etc. and out of the blue, he spoke up and said "well I certainly hope we do not lose our abundant crop of pink cardboard tomatoes". The whole room exploded in laughter and we have never forgotten that. He was such a delight. You all are in our prayers.
