Beatrice "Bea" Martin Austin, 95, formerly of Rhodes Road, passed away Friday morning, January 21, 2011 at Brian Center in Goldsboro, NC. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, January 24, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Austin was born September 18, 1915 in Henry County, VA, daughter of the late George and Pearl Earles Martin. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is her daughter, Judi Barrett of Farmville, NC; son, Robert "Bobby" Austin, Jr. and wife, Debbie of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Donna Linnabery and husband, David, Barbara "Babs" Payne and husband, Michael, Melissa Clifton and husband, Mark, Clay Fulcher, Robbie Austin and fiancee, Michelle, Heather Sawrey and husband, Tommy, and Adam Barrett and wife, Ashley; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Austin, Sr.; two daughters, Jalene Fulcher and Peggy Jarrell; two grandsons, Billy Wayne Jarrell, Jr. and Robert Kenneth Jarrell; and great-granddaughter, Samantha Jarrell. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm before traveling to the graveside service. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.fairfuneralhome.com
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Bea was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and neighbor. My family has great memories of Bea and the patience she had with all the children. She kept an eye out for Lisa, Jackie, and Malcolm as if they were her own. Bea will be missed not only by her family but by those whose lives she touched

Jesus offer this hope for Bea. Jesus well knew the effect the loss of a love one would have on family members. Jesus often used prayer to his heavenly father Jehovah God for strength during stressful times. Your family can pray to God for comfort and strength, Psalms 34:18 states "Jehovah are near those broken at heart...and crush in spirit". We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.
