Ronnie Horsley, 73, of 531 Roberts Road in Eden, passed away Monday morning, January 7, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, January 10, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.  Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

A native of Rockingham County, NC, Mr. Horsley was born April 25, 1945 to the late Leonard Rufus Horsley and Mamie Sawyers Horsley.  He was a member of Ridgeway Church of Christ and a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills. 

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patsy Wilson Horsley of the home;  son, Rod H. Horsley and wife, Kelly, of Stoneville;  daughter, Penny L. Horsley of the home;  two grandchildren, Kennedy and Kylee Horsley of Stoneville;  and brothers, James Horsley and wife, Lois, and J. W. Horsley and wife, Frances, both of Eden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Edith Hill, Norma McBride, Mary Ann Hesselton, and Alice Mimms.
