Reconda Beth Perkins Jerrell, 49, of 635 Patterson Street in Eden, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018, at UNC-Rockingham Health Care.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on December 22, 2018 at Lake Reidsville.  The family will perform a balloon release in her memory.

Reconda was born September 3, 1969 in Eden, NC, to the late Robert Junior Perkins and Christine Lois Cassada.  She was of the Christian faith.  She loved watching television, playing computer games, spending time with her children, grandchildren and fur babies.  Reconda was a strong woman with a loving heart and a kind spirit that surrounded her.  She will be truly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her children, Crystal Jerrell and Michael Jerrell of Burlington, Maria Perkins of Eden, and Adrian Agundiz and wife, Marjelia Gomez of Reidsville;  eight grandchildren, Hadley Ruth Grace Jerrell, Selena Perkins, Carmela Gonzales, Jesus Perkins, Rosalynda Garcia,  Adam Agundiz, Abraham Agundiz and Fernando Garcia;  brother, Tim Cassada and wife, Helen, of Reidsville; and special friends, Jimmie Lynn Peele, Rebecca Johnson, Lisa Jerrell Dodson, Patricia Swink, and Sandra McCollum; and numberous cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Irene Cassada;  aunt, Doris Cox.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rockingham County Humane Society, 205 Boone Road, Eden, NC   27288.
