Lisa Ann Slaughter, 55, of Ridgeway, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, November 18, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home.

Lisa was born October 17, 1963 in Eden, NC. She was a 1982 graduate of Drewry Mason High School. She was a member of Holly Hills Christian Church and was employed by D. B. Schenker. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchild and was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Dillard and husband, Stephon; granddaughter, Mykaela Dillard; parents, Roger Lee Slaughter and Geneva Benton Slaughter; two brothers, Roger Kim Slaughter and wife, Cindy and Johnny Wesley Slaughter and wife, April; uncle, Leon Benton; nieces and nephews, Brittany Slaughter, Cody Slaughter, Bryan Slaughter, Wesley Slaughter, Jayveon Estes, Niya Thomas, and Karri Thomas; and her beloved dog, Lacy.
