D. Scott Forrester, age 61 of Greensboro, NC passed away on Wednesday September 19th at Duke University Hospital.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday September 22, 2018 at Kings Highway Christian Church with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 1:30 til 2 pm, and other times at the home of his parents, 612 E. Stadium Drive, Eden.

Scott was born July 16, 1957 in Abington, VA.  He was a graduate of Morehead High School Class of 1975 and later he graduated from GTCC, Forsyth Tech and High Point University.  He was a Substance Abuse Counselor at Fellowship Hall in Greensboro.

Surviving are parents, Donald D. Forrester and Gay B. Forrester of Eden; brother Gary Forrester and wife Kim of Reidsville; sister, Diana Forrester Scharnus and husband Jerry; special friend, Rad Satterfield; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be offered to Fellowship Hall, 5140 Dunstan Road, Greensboro, NC 27405.
