Sandra Jean Worsham, age 76, went home to be with her Lord and Savior in June 21, 2018. She was born in Annapolis, MD and graduated from Arundel High School.

A memorial service will be held at the Ruffin Cemetery on July 21st at 3:00pm, followed by a reception at the church.

She and her husband Edward “Moochie” Worsham were married for 51 years; they were residents of West Covina, CA for the past year and a half - where they came to be near children and grandchildren. Son Bradley Worsham resides in La Mirada, CA while daughter Valerie lives in La Verne, CA with her children: Nicholas Dean, Macy Grace and Luke Fisher. She is predeceased by her stepson Steven Worsham and survived by stepchildren Denise Perry of Lake City, FL and Roger Worsham of Wilmington, NC.

Prior to the move to CA, they resided in Honolulu, HI for 27 years after a move from Maryland in 1990. Bible reading was Sandra’s favorite pastime, but she also loved playing dominoes, bridge and practically any card game. She also loved playing golf and scored a hole-in-one at age 70.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Ruffin Cemetery fund in Sandra’s memory and mailed c/o Bobby Wharton, 237 Worsham Mill Road, Ruffin, NC 27326.
