Arletta Stowe Pyron, 81, of Stoneville passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at her home.

There will be a private service at a later date.

Mrs. Pyron was born in Rockingham County on May 7, 1936 to the late Tony E. Stowe and Beatrice Fulcher Stowe. She retired from the Eden Public Library as a Librarian.

Mrs. Pyron is survived by her daughters Julia Pyron of Stoneville and Freda Pyron of New Bern, NC; granddaughter, Ashley Parham of Greensboro; brother, Donnie Stowe and wife, Barbara of Greensboro; and sister, Arlene Salas of Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to either Hospice of Rockingham County; P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 or to Dan River Basin Association, 413 Church Street.
