Mary Magiline Pruitt Handy age 84 of 4531 Price Road, Stoneville went home to be with her Lord, Monday January 8, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday at New Beginning Apostolic Church on 687 Shady Grove Road, Eden with burial to follow at Mayodan Municipal Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 -8 pm at the church and other times at the home of her son Tim Handy 4543 Price Road, Stoneville.

Mrs. Handy was born February 15, 1933 in Fries, VA to the late Reese and Mary Anders Pruitt. She was a member of New Beginning Apostolic Church which she truly enjoyed attending. She loved her children and all of her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were husband, Robert Handy; son, James Handy and daughters, Deborah Williams and Virginia Handy.

Surviving are daughters, Ruth Wray (Wayne) of Madison, Rosie Pack (Robert) of Lawsonville, Linda Gibson (Ronnie) of Stoneville, Mildred Lancaster (Maynard) of Eden, Pattie Cardwell (Chip) of Eden, Bobbie Ziglar (William) of Sandy Ridge, Joann Price (David) of Eden; sons, Wayne Handy (Terry), Tim Handy (Michelle) and Junior Handy (Linda) all of Stoneville; 23 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to New Beginning Apostolic Church, 687 Shady Grove Road, Eden, NC 27288
