Marlana Renee Wiles Martin, 54, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, December 14, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Lawson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister, Kathie, 150-A Nova Drive in Eden.

Marlana was born July 10, 1963 in Eden, NC, to the late Linwood Wiles, Sr. and Avis Chaney Wiles.  She was of the Christian faith, enjoyed flat-footing, loved to paint and color, and loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter. 

She is survived by her daughter, Keyra Martin and Taylor Johnson of Eden;  son, Matthew Martin of Stoneville;  granddaughter, Savannah Martin;  three sisters, Kathie Lea of Eden, Melissa Economos (George) of Stoneville and Madonna Durham (David) of Stoneville;  brother, Danny Wiles (Sandy) of Thomasville;  nieces, Amber Wiles Keys (Kevin), Brandi Durham (Davin), and Regina Taylor;  nephews, Michael Spangler (Heather), Joseph Wiles, and Adam Wiles (Tiffany);  great-niece, Nevaeh Spangler;  and several other special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Wright and Treasure Dawn Wiles;  and brothers, Linwood Wiles, Jr. and Johnny Wiles.
