Albert Richard Ladd, 65, of 288 Center Meeting House Road in Stoneville, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 13, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
Mr. Ladd was born October 10, 1952 in Oconee County, SC, to the late Columbus Ladd and Essie Mae Rackley Ladd Starr. He was a former employee of Roybi and of Medibag, Inc. Albert was an avid motorcycle rider and a member of Hi'Risers of Eden, NC Motorcycle Club
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elaine Barnes Ladd of the home; brothers, Elbert Ladd of Greenville, SC and Ray Ladd of Pickens, SC; sister, Beulah Mae Ladd of Danville, VA; and special dog, "Penny".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Beatrice Smith and Bernice Butler and brothers, Milton, James and Elmer Ladd.
