Frieda Mae Corbett Arehart, age 86 of Eden, passed away on Sunday morning December 3, 2017 at Morehead Nursing Center.
A graveside service will be held 2 pm Wednesday at Augusta Memorial Park Cemetery in Waynesboro, Virgina. Vistation will follow after the service and other times at the home of her daughter, Patsy Robertson, 560 Glovenia Street, Eden, NC 27288
Frieda Mae was born June 21, 1931 in Hot Springs, VA to the late Floyd and Lottie Hiner Corbett. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Eden and was a Charter member of Tri-City Rescue Squad in Eden, NC.
Surviving are daughter, Patricia "Patsy" Kay Robertson and husband Mike of Eden; sons, Michael "Mike" Arehart and wife Tonya of Greensboro and Jack M. Arehart and wife Helen of Atlanta, GA.; grandchildren, Jackie Grano and husband Bill, Hayley Tyler and husband Will, Ashley, Matthew, Patty and Abby Arehart; great grandchildren, Makayla and Nate Grano and Henry Tyler, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death along with her parents was husband, Preston M. Arehart, Jr.; brothers, Floyd, Sylvester, Roy and Carl Corbett; sisters, Lillian Hepler, Margaret Sandridge and Frances Oliver.
