James Larry Aheron, 78, of 704 Oak Street, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Aheron was born in the Spray section of Eden on September 20, 1939 to the late Joseph Aheron and Lottie Thompson Aheron.  He served his country proud in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  James retired from the former Bunnies Florist as a delivery driver.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Vernon Aheron. 

James is survived by his brothers, Jack Aheron and wife, Betty of Eden and Jerry Aheron of Brick, N.J.; nephew, Lee Aheron of Woodland, T.X. and niece, Michelle Aheron of Youngsville, N.C.

At James' request, there will be a private family burial at a later date.

I will truly miss James coming by my drive thru and the talks we had about how Eden use to be. We also talked about how he missed Margaret. May God bless the family.
