Tassie Patterson Justice age 56, of 778 Camp Dan Valley Road, Reidsville, passed away on Friday afternoon at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A memorial graveside service will be held 10 am Tuesday at Overlook Cemetery.  A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 5 till 8 pm at the home of her son, Caleb, 5711 Davis Mill Road, Greensboro, NC ( Pleasant Garden community). 

Tassie took great pride in raising her children and sharing with them her love of the arts, her respect for life and honoring what is right. She was an avid reader, loved to listen to music, and kept her hands in the soil.

Surviving are husband Matha Justice of the home; son, Caleb Hunt and wife Ariane; son, Aaron Hunt and wife Elizabeth; son, James Clemmons; daughter, Kameron Utterback; brother, Bob Patterson; sister, Serene Strader; mother, Marlene Ware Gammons; grandchildren, Caroline, Rachel, Owen, Kooper, Hosanna, Silas, Ember and Mary Grace; nieces, April and Kristin Patterson, Brooke and Madison Strader. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Oliver T. Patterson; brother, Brian Patterson and nephew, Chase Durham.
