Ola Elizabeth Allen Lawson, 90, of 416 Patterson Street in Eden, passed away early Monday morning, October 2, 2017, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 5th, at Overlook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lawson was born July 7, 1927 in Cascade, Virginia, to the late Eli and Elizabeth Thornton Allen.

She is survived by her son, Jim Lawson of Myrtle Beach, SC and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lawson and her siblings.  Ola was the last of 13 children.
