Ellen Patricia Thomas, 59, of 233 N. Kennedy Avenue in Eden, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 4, at Osborne Baptist Church. 

Ellen was born November 15, 1957 in Richmond, VA, to the late Lee Tracy Thomas and Patricia Aliffi Thomas.  She was a member of Osborne Baptist Church and worked for Astoria Hotel in Danville, VA.

She is survived by three brothers, Lee Thomas, Jr. (Vicki) of Ridgeway, VA, Mark Thomas of Eden and Bill Thomas (Christine) of Greensboro;  sister, Barbara Janney (Rick) of Reidsville;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Fair Funeral Home to assist with the cost of services.

Ellen was a beloved Christian sister. We attended Bible study together every Thursday morning at Osborne. She was the first one there and eagerly awaited starting our study lesson. Find comfort in knowing she is with her family in heaven and rejoicing.
