John W. Helm, 89, of Reidsville passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at his home. 

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Evergreen Memory Gardens.  There is not a formal visitation.

John was born on April 18, 1928 in Riverside, California to the late Bert Block and Alberta Vanden.  He retired from Douglas Aircraft as an electrician.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Mr. Helm is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Helm of the home; two children; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
