Donald "Jamie" Ray Curry, Jr., 33, of Axton, VA, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, July 29 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday evening, 7 - 9 PM, at Fair Funeral Home.

Jamie was born March 11, 1984 in Martinsville, VA.  He was a member of New Life Chapel in Stoneville, NC and was employed by The Tile Shop.  Jamie enjoyed working on cars, hunting and fishing.  He loved his wife, children and family very much.

He is survived by his wife, Mindy Beth Curry of the home;  four children, Zachary Chenault, Adalee Chenault, Kraven Curry and Ivy Curry, all of the home;  mother, Cindy Crouch Curry of Eden;  father, Donald Ray Curry, Sr. of Eden;  sister, Crystal Curry Brooks and husband, Court Brooks of Eden;  paternal grandmother, Gracie Curry of Eden;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Russell and Jerline Crouch;  paternal grandfather, Allen Curry;  and aunt, Sherry Kingston.

Memorial contributions may be made to his wife to assist with care and needs for their children.
