Roxanne "Cricket" Monique Bowman Murphy, 34, of 602 Henry Street, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 10, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of her father, at 1022 Friendly Road, Lot 3, in Eden.

Roxanne was born July 12, 1982 in Mooresville, NC. She attended Morehead High School and loved music, dancing, and coloring. Most of all she loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her three children, Jacob Matthew Murphy, Lana Jacobs and Brennen Halterman; mother, Susan Shelton (Jeff) of Ridgeway, VA; father, Roy Bowman of Eden; brothers, Adam Shelton and Derrick Mansfield; sisters, Kathy Bowman, Bailey Shelton and LeAnne Shelton Thomas; grandfather, Carl Evans; and best friend, Melissa Jacobs.
