Elizabeth Allen Pulliam Studdard, 66, formerly of Eden, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 30, 2017 at Adams Farm Nursing Home of Jamestown.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.  Interment will follow the service in Overlook Cemetery.

Mrs. Studdard was born in Eden on October 17, 1950 to the late Charles George Pulliam and Fannie Earls Pulliam.  She worked for the Brian Center Rehabilitation Center of Eden as a CNA.  Elizabeth was a faithful member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and a member of the church choir until her declining health.  She was a member of the YMCA and enjoyed going to watch the Morehead High School football games and band.

Mrs. Studdard is survived by her two sons, Patrick Morton Craven and wife, Amanda of High Point, NC and Johnathan Charles Craven and wife, Lindee of King, NC; grandchildren, Michael Craven, Johnathan P. Craven, Patrick Craven II, Michelle Elizabeth Craven all of High Point, NC, Jacob Craven, Johnathan Craven and Abigail Craven all of King, NC; her sister, Gail Walker and husband, Leon of Murrells Inlet, SC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1-2pm) at the Church.

To the Studdard family, I'm so sorry to hear of " Beth's" passing. She was such a joyful woman. She kept us laughing all the time at Pace. . She liked to sing a lot & talk to everyone. I was so sorry to hear this. Your mom and I were really close during high school. I use to iron her hair to straighten it. I spent alot of time at your mom's growing up. Again, am so sorry for your loss. I was Judy Vass in high school.
