William Irvin Fields, 69, of Pine Hill Road, King George, VA passed away on May 12, 2017 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior (1-2 pm) and other times at the home of his sister, Toni, 299 Vintage Road, Eden.

William was born in Alexandria, VA to Jannie Hill Fields and the late James Irvin Fields.  He worked for Steam Fitters and Pipe Fitters Union Local 602 as a pipe fitter and welder.  William enjoyed riding motorcycles and drag racing Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He made many friends during his life and he enjoyed living life to the fullest.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. 

He is survived by his mother, Jannie Hill Fields; his sister, Toni Miller and brother-in-law William Miller; aunts, Mary Edwards and Betty Frances Barker all of Eden; several cousins and a large “extended family” in VA.

Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Fields.
