Jim (or if we can revert to Patterson Street days, you and I were both known as "Jimmy") I'm so sorry to learn of your mother's death, and I pray God's blessings and comfort for you. I relish the memories of time spent at your house "way back when". Jim "Jimmy" Adkins

My grand-parents (Lawsons) were good friends and neighbors of Mrs. Hankins. I grew up knowing her and I always thought she was a very sweet, kind person. Mrs. Hankins always went out of her way to help anyone in need and she was also 'always' very considerate of other people's feelings. She never had a harsh word to say about anybody and she was always a good influence on everyone around her.... May the Lord comfort your heart during this difficult time.

The loss of Mrs. Katie Roberts Hankins a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are people who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of grief.
