Virginia Anne Reaves Heath, 87, passed away Sunday morning, April 16, 2017, at North Pointe Assisted Living in Mayodan.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 20, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 10 - 11 AM.  Burial will be in Lake Mary Cemetery in Florida.

Ms. Heath was born February 17, 1930 in Lake Mary, Florida, to the late John R. Reaves and Amanda Angelia Sjobolin Reaves.  She was a civilian Army nurse in Fort Belvoir, VA at Dewitt Army Hospital for 22 years.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Eden and a lifetime member of Lake Mary Presbyterian Church in Florida.  Ms. Heath loved gardening and was an avid walker.

She is survived by her two sons, Mark Hamilton Heath of Servana Park, MD and Kevin Heath (Ernestine) of Eden;  three grandchildren, Megan Heath, Tyler Heath and Kate Heath;  step-grandson, Charles Harvey;  and step-granddaughter, Sherrie Harvey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, John, Bobby, and Jimmy Reaves and sister, Marian.
